As the Senior Portfolio Manager, Susan heads our decision-making process to implement a sophisticated and strategically tactical approach with our model portfolios, in a way that reflects our client's social and environmental impact objectives. Susan leads the investment committee, providing regular market, financial, and economic figures in order to make timely, concise, data-driven decisions. Additionally, Susan is responsible for placing trades and drives the ongoing development of the firm’s investment processes.


Susan is a trained economist with over two decades of research, consulting and professional portfolio management experience, who is passionate about financial vehicles for social impact and solutions to scale corporate sustainability. Susan integrates her intimate understanding of financial markets with deep macroeconomic, industry-specific, fundamental securities research. Since 2015, she has exclusively utilized Socially Responsible Investments, incorporating ESG factors and impact criteria into the due diligence process while running collaborative shareholder engagement campaigns.
 

Previously, Susan was a Portfolio Manager at Harrington Investments, a well-respected industry pioneer in the Socially Responsible Investment field. With a lifelong community service practice, Susan has served non-profits and in policy advocacy on issues ranging from human, women’s, immigrant and workers’ rights, to environmental justice, economic development and financial regulation. Recently Susan co-founded Project Binario, a non-profit advancing economic development in Latin America and the Caribbean, and currently she sits on the Board of Secure Justice, a non-profit addressing human and civil rights issues related to governmental operations and contracting.
 

Susan has a Ph.D. in Economics and M.A. in Global Political Economy and Finance from the New School for Social Research, in New York City. She received her B.A. in Women’s Studies and Community Studies from UC Santa Cruz and is a licensed Uniformed Investment Advisor (Series 65, FINRA).
 

Susan and her husband Eddy, reside in Vallejo, California with their fun, nature-loving toddler son.
