David is a co-founder of Greenbacker Capital Management, an Asset Management company that invests in commercial scale renewable energy, and energy efficiency assets. Having witnessed the amazing power of Real Estate Investment Trusts in allowing ordinary investors to participate in the Real Estate market, David and his partners saw an opportunity to build a business that would help democratize the production of electricity while at the same time reducing carbon in the environment, increasing jobs in the United States and helping America to become energy independent.
Greenbacker believes that all of these objectives can be achieved along with solid and predictable income from the sale of electricity under contract to high credit quality commercial and municipal offtakers.
